Bro I just bought this like 20 min ago , it's been something I've been wanting for years now I just bought it for 150 on Amazon 224 with shipping and tax ( comes from Japan and I paid for faster shipping only +20). then I looked up a review and saw your video made me glad I made the choice

Wow this watch has a design that I find unappealing like all in the comments . It's hard to imagine who would purchase or wear it, especially given the steep price

PRX killer = Accurist Origin 41mm, can be bought with Miyota quartz 2315 movement or with automatic movement (probably also Miyota ).

I did have a mainspring break on my Speedmaster so I sent it off to get fixed and serviced (bought it in 2008 and the spring broke in 2022, pretty much my fault for not getting it serviced since buying it). When they sent it back they sent all the parts they replaced too, which included the crystal which had a huge crack in it, the crown and pushers (which I thought looked perfectly fine so I figure they just replace those as a matter of course), the broken mainspring, and all the hands (which I also thought looked just fine, I guess they just always replace those too). But they did also send back a couple of cog wheels from within the watch mechanism. I can't tell what was wrong with them, they look OK to me, but I don't have a microscope to check them under. So if they're like the UK Omega service centre then yeah, they will send broken components from inside the watch itself back if they needed to replace them.

I have had my GS for 8 years now. I wear it a great deal and the polishing still has zero scratches. It looks like whoever owned yours before is very heavy handed in how he or she wears their watches! As for lume I rarely if ever find any benefit from it. When it's sunny it charges if you have a short sleeve shirt but once night comes the lume fades very quickly and I have Lumed watches that are noted for their excellence in lume. If I wear a watch in the dark I wear my Marathon tritium watch.

Agreed. I own the 747 Community Watch and have no issue with your assessment, straight up. I love this watch though, even with all the short fallings. Surprisingly, to me, whenever I'm in the UK it's the only watch I get compliments on. I would say Bremont is a very much recognized brand in the UK from this.

I have my 1984 g10 Fatboy that I was issued in 1987 when I made full copral, I liberated in when I handed my kit in. I was charged £120........still wear it almost daily.

Unfortunate to hear an experience like that with GS. I bought my first an sbgm221 with the movement you don’t favor. My next will be a spring drive probably the shunbun from the heritage collection or snowflake or lake sewa. Love the brand, don’t care about lume just blown away by the look and craftsmanship.

Huh. Mine has been fine for the last five years. Not extraordinarily high quality like in high horology or luxury, but it was serviceable for a tool watch. And this is definitely a tool watch. Military, first responder, police, outdoorsmen, etc. I even spend a good deal of time running with it. While I'll admit it could be better, I think you got a dud. Especially seeing how your links aren't flush.

I have a couple squares and I'm happy with those, but that is a good looking DW6900 IMO. I'm not crazy about depicting anything on the display as I think it'll unavoidably compromise legibility. Just one nerd's opinions!

I always appreciate the sarcasm and it is quite fitting with the overt packaging. As for the watch, nothing says "America" like screaming the word "America!" be it literally or metaphorically!

How does the quality of this compare to your datejust? I want a mint datejust but disenchanted with Rolex these days after buying two from the AD. I’m strongly considering a mallard green.
